City Bus
Vehicles with polluting emissions are banned from the town centre: with the urban CITY BUS you can still get to the centre of town and go shopping or go to any offices without wasting time looking for parking. Use the CITY BUS: it’s free! No parking problems and save on petrol. Fewer cars in the centre and less pollution!
The terminus for the free shuttle bus on LINEA1 is near the Palasport in via Giolitti, and provides a link to the new suburban residential areas in the north of the town (corso Isoardi area), following a route along via Torino, corso Indipendenza and corso Matteotti, continuing towards the railway station in the direction of the Hospital S.S. Annunziata. LINEA1 was established thanks to contributions from the Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano Bank and the CRS Foundation.
At the following stops Biblioteca, Piazza del Popolo, San Giovanni ( Post Office), Isoardi, Stazione FF.SS., Ospedale and Palasport you can find the Bike – sharing service Bicincittà docking stations, which can be used with a BIP pass.
The Free City Bus passes by each stop every 20/25 minutes. (every day except holidays):
LINE1 BLU
From Monday to Saturday: from 07.30 to 12.50, and from 16.30 to 18.30. During the summer period (from 1st July to 31st August): only Tuesday and Fridays from 7.30 to 12.50
The free shuttle bus LINEA2 terminus is at the COOP car park near the Madre Bonino Church in via Galimberti, and provides a link to the new residential suburbs to the west of the Town (Consolata, Vernetta), taking a route along via Sanità and via Monasterolo, corso Caduti Libertà, and continuing towards the University in the direction of the hospital S.S. Annunziata to then return to the east neighbourhood of Borgo Marene. LINEA2 was established thanks to contributions from the Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano Bank and the CRS Foundation.
At the following stops Madre Bonino (near the football pitches in via Galimberti), Ospedale, San Giovanni (Post Office), Municipio, San Pietro (by the University) you can find the bike sharing service Bicincittà docking stations, which can be used with the BIP pass.
